As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Amy is responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensuring each patient has an exceptional experience while in our care. She promotes a positive working environment, encourages cohesive teamwork, and leads the multidisciplinary team toward a common goal of providing a safe environment for our patients to heal and thrive. Amy ensures the development and implementation of operational procedures, policies and standards, as well as supervises the clinical leadership team. Amy began her career with Vermilion in 2016 as the Director of Nursing and was later promoted to Corporate Director of Quality and Compliance over the Louisiana region. She has recently returned to Vermilion, as the Chief Executive Officer, and feels strongly that returning to her community and helping provide patients with a safe, welcoming, judgement free place to heal is her true calling. “Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life.
